AGU Spor (Abdullah Gül University Youth and Sports Club) advanced to semifinals eliminating Beşiktaş in the second-leg of the EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals.
The red-white team had Donneka Hodges, Chelsea Gray, Zoi Dimitrakou, Janel McCarville and Lara Sanders in their starting line-up.
AGU Spor led the first quarter 20-16 and the second 40-35. The home team Beşiktaş finished the third quarter leading 56-49 and won the game 71-63, however despite the score, holding the 11-point advantage from the first leg, Kayseri team advanced in the tournament.
For AGU Spor, D. Hodges finished with 15 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds; Sanders with 13 points and 6 rebounds; C. Gray with 12 points and 4 rebounds; Janel McCarville with 7 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
Advancing to semifinals in EuroCup with their superior aggregate score, AGU Spor will take on French team Tango Bourges Basket.
The semifinals are scheduled to take place on March 22 and 25.
