The Train the Trainer series organized by the Children's University of Abdullah Gül University (AGU) continue. Sümer Science High School teachers joined the latest training session.
The participants took the "Gifted Children and Their Education" training. The Children's University Coordinator H. Fikri Ulusoy trained 30 teachers in this regard.
The training covered status of gifted children abroad and in Turkey, their education, career chances, characteristics, and attitude of teachers towards gifted children, and increased trainees' awareness about them.
Th training stressed that each and every child/young individual is talented, but await the discovery of that talent, which must be one of the priorities of education.
Also, one interesting topic discussed at the training was the skills children and the youth need to gain in order to compete and cooperate globally.
The training took place at the Large Warehouse building on the Sümer Campus.
