Prospective undergraduate students taking the university entrance exam came together at AGU. Educator and author Süleyman Beledioğlu delivered a seminar on "Advice to Prospective Students Before the University Exam" and explained to the students how they could beat the exam stress.
Educator and author Beledioğlu, also known by the pseudonym “Bonus Hoca” by the public, came to the Sümer Campus Conference Hall for the event upon invitation of Abdullah Gül University.
The prospective undergraduate students showed great enthusiasm for Beledioğlu's speech, which involved advice on motivation, coping with stress, overcoming exam anxiety, and self-motivation for the exam.
Beledioğlu stressed that regular sleep boosts learning and remembering and lack of it hinders math skills. Beledioğlu also advised the students to take a break the day before the exam and have fun without exhausting themselves.
At the end of his speech, Beledioğlu repeated his tradition of reciting the oath of entering university with all the students.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erk Hacıhasanoğlu made some welcoming remarks before the seminar and reminded that Turkey was changing along with the new generations, and that was drastically changing our perspectives on life. "As young people, please make demands, requests; that's where you draw your power", Prof. Hacıhasanoğlu stated.
Around 500 students from public and private schools in Kayseri attended the event enthusiastically.
